History and core business
KOH-I-NOOR Mlada Vozice was founded as a manufacturing company in 1947. Since then the company has gone through dynamic development and several transformations.
Present core business is focused on production of wide range of the aerosol valves, actuators and caps. KIN entered the aerosol industry in 1960 when it developed own female valve. Since then KIN has been evolving its capabilities in functional areas of aerosol industry. One of the core capabilities developed over the years is production of precise plastic parts especially for aerosol valves and actuators.
KIN is solely owned by GES GROUP, a private Czech investment company. GES owns and operates businesses primarily in four main areas: industry, media, agriculture, real estate.
KIN Goals and Priorities
Currently KIN is developing and executing its ambitious growth strategy which aims to triple revenues in 5 year horizon and significantly increase profitability. The strategy is designed based on the following principles:
Sustainability – emphasis on production from sustainable materials
Organic growth of core business – growing market share via new customers, geographies and projects as well as through development of new product portfolio
Acquisitions and partnerships in core business areas.
Acquisitions and partnerships of adjacent and related business areas adding capabilities to deliver on existing and new needs of customers.
